3 Clips From Johnny Depp’s Amusingly Oddball CG Movie Rango

Not entirely sure if Johnny Depp’s “Rango” is going to do gangbuster business when it opens next month, but it certainly looks incredibly amusing from everything I’ve seen of it so far, including these three clips from the movie. Heck, if this was a live-action movie, you wouldn’t give the part to anyone but Depp. If, you know, that makes any sense at all.

From director Gore Verbinski (“The Pirates of Caribbean”), comes the animated movie “Rango”, the story of a chameleon with an identity crisis. Featuring the voices of Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher, and Abigail Breslin.

Showing off its oddballness March 4, 2011.

This does look really good. Old western towns pretty much look the same, I guess, is this one supposed to remind me of one in Dead Man?
