Three new clips from John Cusack’s “War, Inc.” has appeared online, and we were directed to them by the movie’s PR people. The film is a not-really a sequel to Cusack’s hitman hit “Grosse Pointe Blank”, and follows Cusack’s hitman as he goes to an oil-rich country to whack some guy for Big Oil. It’s one of those poorly hidden satire that you can see coming a mile away, which may explain why it’s, in all likelihood, going straight to DVD. And oh yeah, there’s a scene in there where Hilary Duff, playing a slutty pop princess, puts a scorpion down her pants. All three clips below.
WAR, INC. is a political satire set in Turaqistan, a country occupied by an American private corporation run by a former US Vice-President (Dan Aykroyd). In an effort to monopolize the opportunities the war-torn nation offers, the corporation’s CEO hires a troubled hit man, played by John Cusack, to kill a Middle East oil minister. Now, struggling with his own growing demons, the assassin must pose as the corporation’s Trade Show Producer in order to pull off this latest hit, while maintaining his cover by organizing the high-profile wedding of Yonica Babyyeah (Hilary Duff) an outrageous Middle Eastern pop star, and keeping a sexy left wing reporter (Marisa Tomei) in check.
See what I mean about the satire in this thing?
