Now that production has wrapped on “The Wolverine” and the trailers are out in the wind for all to see, director James Mangold (or, more likely, one of his assistants, I’m guessing) decided to give fans on Twitter four new behind-the-scenes looks at the making of the film. One of them includes the lovely Tao Okamoto (above), playing Mariko in the film, while the rest don’t involve any of the main actors, though it’s always interesting to see what goes into making a movie as big as “The Wolverine”.
Take a gander, take a ganderers.
Based on the celebrated comic book arc, THE WOLVERINE finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.
“The Wolverine” also stars Hugh Jackman, Brian Tee, Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Rila Fukushima, James Fraser, and Hal Yamanouchi.
Slicin’ fools this July 26, 2013.
