Hey, it’s not easy to survive the zombie apocalypse, you know. It tends to get a little dirty and a mite grimy, not to mention awfully bloody. Check out a batch of promo portraits featuring the cast of AMC’s “The Walking Dead”, returning for its no-doubt records busting Season 4 next month.
Also, a handful of episode stills for the premiere episode, titled “30 Days Without an Accident”, which airs October 13th. I’m guessing there will be an accident very soon. Otherwise, well, it’d be a pretty boring show, wouldn’t it?
As with the last season, Season 4 of “The Walking Dead” will consist of 16 episodes, which is the direct result of the show being a ratings juggernaut for the network. Most AMC shows consist of 13-episode seasons, and 16 is usually reserved for series finales. “Breaking Bad’s” last season, for instance, was 16 episodes, while previous episodes were only 13 episodes long. But given how much money “The Walking Dead” is making for AMC, making every season a tad bloated 16 episodes seems to be the price of success. Which means, alas, a little dragging their feet with story progression, with characters taking two or three episodes to make a decision/or do something that would normally occur in one episode.
The cast this time around includes Norman Reedus, Andrew Lincoln, Scott Wilson, Danai Gurira, Steven Yeun, Melissa Suzanne, Chandler Riggs, Emily Kinney, Chad L. Coleman, David Morrissey, Sonequa Martin-Green, Lauren Cohan and Lawrence Gilliard Jr.
You won’t have Laurie Holden to kick around anymore, you bums.
