Following up on that first clip from Dean Parisot’s “Red 2” featuring Helen Mirren and Byung-hun Lee in a getaway car making mincemeat of their pursuers, comes five more clips along with a new batch of images from the upcoming sequel. I’m not entirely sure what’s going on with Byung-hun Lee’s character here. Is he a bad guy, a semi-bad guy, or a good guy on the wrong side? One moment he’s trying to kill Bruce Willis and John Malkovich with a mini-gun and the next he’s cruising around with Helen Mirren. Weird.
Anyhoo. Check out the clips and images, check it outers.
In RED 2, the high-octane action-comedy sequel to the worldwide sleeper hit, retired black-ops CIA agent Frank Moses reunites his unlikely team of elite operatives for a global quest to track down a missing portable nuclear device. To succeed, they’ll need to survive an army of relentless assassins, ruthless terrorists and power-crazed government officials, all eager to get their hands on the next-generation weapon. The mission takes Frank and his motley crew to Paris, London and Moscow. Outgunned and outmanned, they have only their cunning wits, their old-school skills, and each other to rely on as they try to save the world—and stay alive in the process.
Starring Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker with Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Byung Hun Lee, Brian Cox, and Neal McDonough.
