66th Annual 2008 Golden Globe Nominations

As I hear it, the Golden Globes is made up of a dozen or so foreigners who get together every year in a dingy little room in the back of an Appleby’s on Wilshire Boulevard right around Koreatown. It’s here, in this magical place some call the janitor’s closet, that these brave, insightful souls put together a list of the best actors, directors, and movies of the year, from which only one from each category is bestow the great Golden Globe hardware. I could be wrong, of course, but probably not be a whole lot. Fact is, every Hollywood producer, writer, director, and actor wants to win a Golden Globe, but everyone also realizes it’s all one big joke. But hey, since it’s movie-related, and we’re sort of a movie news site and all, I guess even we have to cover it. So here you go, the full list of Golden Globe nominees for 2008.
