Let’s face it, sometimes the real thing just doesn’t cut it. With high unemployment, global terrorist threats, and an economy that leaves a lot to be desired, it seems that our real life President just doesn’t have what it takes to tackle the issues. When that happens, there are plenty of much better options offered up by Hollywood. In honor of this coming Election Day (this Tuesday, for all you non-voting types (and foreigners) out there), here is our list of 7 fictional Presidents we wouldn’t mind actually becoming our real President.

    Damn, I wrote “Top 7 Fictional Presidents” articles years ago for another site and we definitely see eye to eye on Kovic, Palmer, Marshall, and Whitmore (Lone Star!!!!).

        In that case, the magazine had a series of “Top 7″ articles. I think top two were President Muffley from “Dr. Strangelove” and Unnamed President from “Fail/Safe” and somewhere down the chain was Bennett from “Clear and Present Danger”. Was meant to be memorable as opposed to guys we’d want to see in office

          It took me a long time to come up with that list, too. I had to go to IMDB.com and scroll through a bunch of movies featuring Presidents. But I always knew Abe would end up at #1, though. I mean, vampire slayer. Who can beat that?
