AMC’s monster hit show “The Walking Dead” returns with an all-new slate of episodes for the second half of its Season 4 this week. I’m frankly not a fan of all these episodes, even though I enjoy the show. The best thing about cable shows to me have always been the handful of episodes per season instead of the usual 24 of a regular network show, where half of them are basically just filler. But since the show just seems to keep getting bigger and bigger despite the longer and longer seasons, what do I know.
Anyways, the first episode of the second half, “After,” premieres this Sunday. Here’s the plot synopsis for those of you who read plot synopsis of TV shows instead of, you know, just tuning in to watch it when it airs (like the rest of the universe):
As the survivors of the prison assault try to regroup, Rick and Carl stumble upon a vacant house in the forest. Meanwhile, Daryl and Beth realize they are being watched by someone, and a new threat begins to emerge.
The castmembers featured in 7 new images from the upcoming season include Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs, Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, and Danai Gurira. Looks like they’re all separated. Hopefully ol Glenn has some help, cause it’s gonna be mighty tough all by his little lonesome out there. Buckle up, Glenn!
