Superhero Ass Kicking in D.C. Universe Online Extended Trailer

Check out a truly awesome extended trailer for D.C.’s upcoming “D.C. Universe Online” MMO game, “Who Do You Trust”. I’ll be perfectly honest with you, the chances of me playing this game is about zil to nil, mostly because the closest I’ve ever come to devoting a lot of time to playing games is an hour of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2″ every other night, so I can’t even fathom spending more than that on an MMO, which would seem to be a requisite. Even so, this extended trailer (over six minutes long) for “D.C. Universe Online” is just unbelievably cool.

The heroes of DC face seemingly insurmountable odds against threats both physical and mental in this 5 minute CG trailer for DC Universe Online!

The game is due out November 2, 2010 for the Playstation 3 and PC. Not sure if it’s going to expand to XBOX and the rest.

Now THAT was EPIC!!!!! Loving the voice work: And many people are either returning or playing similar parts.
The Voice cast consists of many talented actors who previously played their characters in other DCAU projects.

Adam Baldwin as Superman (Reprising his role from Superman: Doomsday)
Kevin Conroy as Batman (Reprising his role from the DC animated universe and various other DC projects)
Gina Torres as Wonder Woman (Previously playing her evil counterpart, Superwoman in the movie Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths)
Mark Hamill as Joker (Reprising his role from the DC animated universe and various other DC projects)
James Marsters as Lex Luthor and Brainiac (Reprising his Brainiac role from Smallville and Reprising his Lex Luthor role from Superman: Doomsday)
    Michelle Forbes as Circe

I like the subtle changes that Hamil and Conroy made to their characters, and though I LOVE Clancy Brown as Luthor, Marsters is pretty good.

Got my PS3 just in time. Now all I need is the webernet.

Nope it's not going to the 3shi…I er mean 360 it's a PS3 exclusive. I've been waiting on this one for a while now just a couple more months unless another delay comes along.

Superb!!! I just watched that like 5 times. I'd love to see some entire animated movies one this way!!!!

Agreed. There's a 4 min or so one with Iron Man, Hulk and Spidey on you-tube that wasn't bad.

I saw this a couple days ago and as much as I like it, the game play doesn't do it for me that much yet.

Not being on the Xbox is an issue…..

Especially with the voices, I'd almost pay to just see the demo video in its entirety. And, from what I hear you don't get to play the part of your favorite hero or villain anyway. That alone I think will keep many away…..people want to play the part of their favorite heroes. Sales will tell….

Gonna have to correct myself on this one point…. “DCUO features 2v2 arena where players are DC characters”…….

In anything like this where there are established characters you don't get to play as them usually. There'd be hundreds of Batmen and Supermen and Wonder Women. At least they give you the arena stages. In Matrix Online you couldn't play as Morpheus or anyone left after the last movie either.
