Yeah, I have no idea how that’s gonna work, either, unless they plan on turning the film into some kind of epic action movie, which I suppose would be a pretty novel approach. And when you add McG to the mix as director, this thing will probably look less like a History Channel movie and more like a SyFy Channel movie. Then again, have you seen some of those History Channel “biographies” lately?
Word is that Richard Branson, he of the Virgin media empire, is looking to nab himself the script for T.S. Nowlin’s “Columbus”, which is described as “a [Zack Snyder's] ’300′-style film about Christopher Columbus and his discovery of America.”
Again, no idea how that’s gonna work, but my interest is certainly piqued.
McG, meanwhile, is currently busy with the action-comedy “This Means War” with Reese Witherspoon, Tom Hardy and Chris Pine. One can only hope he’ll lay off the super slow motion as Christopher Columbus “discovers” America.
