Well, you knew it had to happen sooner or later with the studio already showing the 7-minute prologue to Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises” to industry types, journos, and even sneak screenings around the country. So here it is for those of you who just can’t wait to catch the prologue in front of the IMAX showing of “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol” on the 16th. It is a blurry, barely visible copy, to be sure, but hey, what did you expect?

“The Dark Knight Rises”, starring Christian Bale as Batman, Tom Hardy as Bane, Gary Oldman as Gordon, and Anne Hathaway as Catwoman rises July 20, 2012.

By the way, I guess we now know who Dr. Pavel is

Updated: Sorry, guys, you’ll just have to wait for the official version to be released (or watch it in front of “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol”). Or do what most people do, use Google. Hint.

Absolutely awesome. The “heist-in-the-opening” theme seems to have been carried over from TDK, and it sounds like they’re keeping Bane’s South American origin; despite being played by a Brit (which the fanboy in me is happy about). However, the voice was kind of hard to understand at certain parts; but I’m hoping they’ll fix that in post. All in all, this film is on the right track to at least living up to its predecessor. I can’t wait to see the rest!

I do hope the voice is fixed; If not, then Bane is not South American. A very strong british accent is heard on the video.

Thanks for the link. It was good quality too! The camera was positioned about 6 inches too high though, I just kept wanting to grab the dude’s hand and push it down slightly. Lol. The footage was awesome! Looks like the naysayers, myself included, may be once again muzzled by Nolan the Great.

I’m just gonna wait cause I’m not gonna be able to see it at work, and I’m not gonna tease myself. This better be on the Blu-Ray though.
