The lesson to take away from these buncha new clips from Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel”? One: Never, ever mess with Superman’s mother. Two: Antje Traue can enslave me anytime. Seriously, enslave me. I give up.
Anyhoo. Check out two full clips and a bunch of smaller clips from “Man of Steel”, opening next week. I remember seeing a big special on the movie on last night’s “Nightline” after the first game of the NBA Finals (the Spurs won, by the way, thanks to a ridiculous (literally) last second shot by Tony Parker), and a lot of the smaller clips below are from that special.
Check them out, check them outers.
Clark Kent/Kal-El is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question – Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha and Jonathan Kent, Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as “Superman,” not only to shine as the world’s last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves.
Starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, and Russell Crowe.
