“The Expendables 2” is currently shooting in Bulgaria, and a slew of set photos have popped. Excited for the sequel or not—I’ll be the first one admit that there are glaring flaws and that it could, and maybe should have been way better—the idea of Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Scott Adkins, and more in a single movie is damn exciting.
You aren’t going to learn anything super important from these pictures, most are posed group photos that features a bunch of dudes giving an enthusiastic thumbs up to the camera. But there are also shots of giant, muscle-bound bros with large machine guns, both of which bode well for any action movie.
Take a look for yourself below. My personal favorite is the one of Van Damme holding a gun to his own head and smiling about it. It’s a good time.
