Michael Shannon in Man of Steel (2013) Movie Image

Hopefully you haven’t gotten your fill of Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel” yet, especially after that very epic latest trailer. In case you haven’t, check out even more new images (and some old ones) from “Man of Steel”, this time in pretty decent hi-res quality. In case I haven’t said it before (or you missed it the first time), but this is easily THE movie of 2013 for me. It has the potential to be even better than ol shellhead’s third outing. Will it make nearly as much money, though? That is in some doubt. After all, Tony Stark has the personality that Superman will never have.

Will that matter at the box office? Let’s all find out together this Summer, shall we?

Clark Kent/Kal-El is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question – Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha and Jonathan Kent, Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as “Superman,” not only to shine as the world’s last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves.

Starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, and Russell Crowe.

Faster than a locomotive this June 14, 2013.
