A New Poster and a Silly Trailer for Quentin Dupieux’s Rubber

A movie about a murderous tire with telekinetic powers is pretty far fetched, and I can totally understand why everyone isn’t as enamored with the project as I am. Quentin Dupieux’s “Rubber” — which will hit select North American theaters on April 1st, 2011 — follows the misadventures of a vengeful tire as it wreaks bloody havoc on the unsuspecting citizens of a small desert town. The boys and girls haunting the halls at Dread Central managed to get their hands on a copy of the latest poster, a snazzy slice of artwork that has been carefully positioned below. And in case you missed it, you can also indulge in the latest trailer for the production, which adequately shows off the film’s admittedly dry sense of humor. Needless to say, yours truly is incredibly excited about “Rubber”.

Special thanks to Horror-Movies.ca for providing the trailer.

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at) beyondhollywood.com.

I forgot about this. Must try and find out if it’s being shown at a film festival in the UK.
