How many times did New York supercop John McClane throw out the “F” bomb in the first two “Die Hard” movies? How many bad guys did he have to whack to save how many hostages again? And oh yeah, how many times did he punch, headbutt, or otherwise get himself injured just because he was the right man at the wrong place at the right time?
To celebrate the upcoming release of “A Good Day to Die Hard”, the folks at 20th Century Fox have released two very thorough infographics for the first two “Die Hard” movies. I like it. Usually when studios decide to get in on the infographic trend, it’s pretty silly. There was one for “Dark Skies” that was almost pointless. These, though, are not. Check them out and a fresh clip from the latest “Die Hard” movie, the cheekily titled “A Good Day to Die Hard” below.
Iconoclastic, take-no-prisoners cop John McClane for the first time finds himself on foreign soil after traveling to Moscow to help his wayward son Jack — unaware that Jack is really a highly-trained CIA operative out to stop a nuclear weapons heist. With the Russian underworld in pursuit, and battling a countdown to war, the two McClanes discover their opposing methods make them unstoppable heroes.
Starring Bruce Willis, Jai Courtney, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Amaury Nolasco, Cole Hauser, Sebastian Koch, Aksel Hennie, Julia Snigir, and directed by John Moore.
