And in case you didn’t know how a fist works, Dwayne Johnson’s Roadblock teaches you the lesson that your momma shoulda taught you when you were growing up. But hey, that’s why Roadblock’s around, to be your momma. A really big, muscular, heavily tattooed momma.

Anyhoo, take a gander at two new TV spots for Jon Chu’s upcoming “G.I. Joe: Retaliation”. Remember when this movie was supposed to come out last year? (Hell, we still have the Super Bowl spot for the film from the last Super Bowl, not the one with the Ravens-49ers.) Let’s hope it wasn’t delayed because it sucked, because man, I am totally digging these TV spots and what I’m seeing. I could do without the 3D, though, but eh, why beat that old horse. (I’m sure the horse doesn’t appreciate it, either.)

In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.

Starring Bruce Willis, Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnson, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Stevenson, Ray Park, Joseph Mazzello, Arnold Vosloo, Elodie Yung, Walton Goggins, Jonathan Pryce, Byung-hun Lee, RZA, D.J. Cotrona, and Matt Gerald.

The Joes retaliate March 29, 2013.

As exited as I am for this I really would have liked to see Destro and Baroness return. Having the set-up and ultimately pay off of Destro wearing the metal mask was the best part of the first movie for me and their relationship in the cartoon and comics was always one of my favorite aspects. Hopefully this one will get it right and make the cast of the previous installment want to return for a third film.

That’d be cool. Though I’d like to see Sienna Miller play Barroness with an accent, hell even just a British one would work, also, but yeah would love to see her and Eckolsen return.
