Tired of trudging ceaselessly through your very boring Tuesday? Have no fear, the first trailer for Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby” is here to save you. If you think you know the story, you haven’t seen it with 3D flappers doing their thing in your face while, you know, in the third dimension. I am of course assuming that the movie itself will have more 3D stuff that isn’t readily apparent in this trailer. Please to enjoy.

Nick Carraway, a Midwesterner now living on Long Island, finds himself fascinated by the mysterious past and lavish lifestyle of his neighbor, Jay Gatsby. He is drawn into Gatsby’s circle, becoming a witness to obsession and tragedy.

Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Joel Edgerton, Carey Mulligan, Isla Fisher, Jason Clarke, Elizabeth Debicki, and Amitabh Bachchan.
