Who lives and who dies in the Season 2 finale of “Game of Thrones”? Given that the season’s big battle already happened last week amongst the waves of Blackwater and the walls of King’s Landing, I’m guessing most of the season finale will be taken up with “Oh Shit” moments, like Ser Jaimie having his, ahem, hands full with Brienne and a bunch of bad dudes with bad intentions, Jon Snow trapped beyond The Wall, and Daenerys’ dragon situation getting sorted out in a certain House.
To help make sure they get all that in, HBO has given the finale 10 extra minutes to wrap things up. If I had to guess, I’d say the final shot of “Game of Thrones” Season 2 will be Jon Snow getting a good look at a certain King’s host as it marches. It would be a pretty epic shot. Or they could go smaller and more intimate with Jaime. But then again, like Jon Snow, I know nothing, so we’ll see.
Here’s the official synopsis to get you caught up on all the players:
Tyrion awakens to a changed situation. King Joffrey doles out rewards to his subjects. As Theon stirs his men to action, Luwin offers some final advice. Brienne silences Jaime; Arya receives a gift from Jaqen; Dany goes to a strange place; Jon proves himself to Qhorin.
The Season 2 finale, “Valar Morghulis”, airs this Sunday on HBO.
