Right about now, you’re probably sick of all the “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance” promotional garbage that’s been making the rounds as of late. Honestly, I can’t seem to get enough of it. My head is overflowing with flaming Nicolas Cage tomfoolery, and I’m having a hard time cramming these brand new TV spots into my own burning skull. Although they really don’t offer up anything we haven’t seen before, that’s certainly no reason not to click PLAY and allow all of that certified Cage madness to wash over you in a cool, crazy wave. Or something.
The sequel includes the following storyline:
Former stuntman and bounty hunter of rogue demons Johnny Blaze has been living in self-imposed exile, believing that his powers are a curse. But when he is approached by a member of a monastic order who is looking for someone to protect a mother and her son, who are being pursued by the devil in the figure of a man named Roarke, the Ghost Rider takes the case.
“Spirit of Vengeance”, starring Fergus Riordan, Ciaran Hinds, Violante Placido, Idris Elba, and Johnny Whitworth, sets the box office on fire beginning February 17th, 2012.
