You can add three more names to Walter Hill’s upcoming “Headshot” with Sylvester Stallone — Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Christian Slater and Holt McCallany. The trio joins Stallone and Hill, along with Sung Kang in an adaptation of the comic book “Bullet to the Head”, though this is purely an action/crime comic, so don’t expect Stallone to suit up in tights.
The plot has Stallone playing a New Orleans hitman who teams up with Kang’s New York cop to take on the bad guy who killed their partners. Jason Momoa is playing a villain in the movie, but not the main bad guy. That role will go to former “G.I Joe” guy Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who will play “a powerful attorney who’s trying to cover up his scam to exploit poor neighborhoods that have been ravaged by Hurricane Katrina.”
Christian Slater will play “a local handler who acts as a middleman”, while “Lights Out’s” McCallany will play “a dirty cop who’s partners with Kang.”
