Check out a new International poster for Timur Bekmambetov’s “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter”. Yes, it’s a novel concept, but so was “Cowboys and Aliens”, and we all know how that one turned out… And no, studio people, constantly calling Bekmambetov a “visionary filmmaker” in all your film’s press material doesn’t necessarily make him one.
The film stars Benjamin Walker as the Prez/vampire slayer, with Anthony Mackie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Dominic Cooper, Rufus Sewell, Alan Tudyk, Jimmi Simpson, and Jaqueline Fleming. Abe strikes (then takes a break) June 22, 2012.
