Abrams’ Cloverfield Gets an Official Site, Lost Connections?
Cloverfield (2008) Movie — By Nix on July 5, 2007 |
Yes, according to Bloody-Disgusting, so if this turns out NOT to be the official site, you know who to blame. (Hint: Not me!) There’s, of course, nothing there, except the film’s release date (1/18/2008), and a picture of two terrified women (thumbnail to your left, bigger picture below) looking up at something approaching them from on high. I’m speculatin’ that they’re terrified since one of them has smeared mascara, which I’ve been told is a sure sign that someone has been crying, which would seem to indicate fear. Or somesuch.
Anyways, as the release date approaches, and he hype machine picks up for the movie, we should get plenty of “Cloverfield” (or whatever it is the movie ends up being called) stuff to mull over.
By the way, according to BuzzSugar, January 18, 2008 (the film’s release date) is also the date when the next season of “Lost” is supposed to begin, yet another clue, perhaps, that “Cloverfield” is little more than a fancy schmancy teaser for the upcoming “Lost” season? Or perhaps a “Lost”-related event?
Curiouser and curiouser…
