Add Young Beast to X-Men First Class

I don’t think most people knew that Matthew Vaughn’s “X-Men: First Class” would even include a young version of Beast, the character played by Kelsey Grammer is the third “X-Men” film, but according to ShowBiz411, the furry ball of blue cuddliness (at least when he’s not drop-kicking you with his massive feet) will be present and accounted, and stage actor Benjamin Walker (left) has landed the gig.

I’m not sure how big of a role Beast will have in the prequel, as he’s never really been a big part of the “X-Men” movies. Either way, it looks like casting has really picked up now on the film, with James McAvoy set as young Professor X, and Michael Fassbender recently confirmed as in negotiations for young Magneto.

The only thing left now is casting the ladies…

Yeah but Beast has always been an impotant part of the franchise as a comic. Only thing is I doubt we'll see a blue Beast. It'd actually be kinda cool to watch him try and cure his mutation and then have it backfire and turn blue. I think we'll get big-feet Beast. I actually really liked Kelsey Gramer as beast he brought just the right bit of sophistication to the character.
