USA Today has debuted the DVD box art cover for Marvel Studios’ upcoming “Planet Hulk” animated movie, due out February 2, 2010. The artwork is by no other than Alex Ross himself, comic book cover artist extraordinaire. And in case you missed it, check out the “Planet Hulk” trailer here.

Great story, great art, and now a great box cover by Ross. I love his art, (Except the utility belt on Batman. Pockets should never be that empty and flat), and his Hulk looks great. I can’t wait to see this. This just may be the best of Marvel’s Animated films yet. I haven’t been that impressed with them really, DC’s have been consistantly better in my opinion. The best of Marvel’s to me have been Dr. Strange (which actually made the character cool), and Hulk Vs. (ands thats’s because they did Deadpool right). But this looks good. I have the HC trade of the story. A WOrld War Hulk flick would be amazing. HULK VS. Marvel Universe. I’m down.
