Swell. Not more than a day after I preview the horror movie “All the Boys Love Mandy Lane” does Dimension Films decides it’s gonna blow off the July 20th release date for an as-yet-announced new date. IGN gets the story from the horse’s mouth: “IGN contacted Dimension Films about the report and the studio confirmed that Mandy Lane’s release has been pulled. A new release date has yet to be determined.” Frag it.
“All the Boys Love Mandy Lane” stars Amber Heard, late of the cancelled “Hidden Palms”, as a high school seductress who becomes the victim of a stalker. One that likes to chop up other boys who get in his way of his obsession. Don’t you hate it when that happens?
As mentioned in my preview of the film, “Mandy Lane” was finished in 2006, and it was curious that it took the film so long to get released. And now it’s pulled as its release date nears? I smell something fishy going on here…
