In “Jennifer’s Body”, Amanda Seyfried was the nerdy, girl-next-door with glasses who was friends with the most attractive girl in school. In “Chloe”, Seyfried is basically playing the Megan Fox role, except she can actually act. Take a look at a clip (or is this the world’s oddest trailer?) for a new drama from Atom Egoyan. Seyfried stars as a call girl with big, expressive eyes and seductive lips, and Julianne Moore plays a doctor who suspects her husband (Liam Neeson) of cheating on her, so she hires Seyfreid to find out then report back to her. It’s your classic “my husband is cheating on me so I want to help him out” scenario, but in Egoyan’s hands, it’s probably going to be a lot more complicated than that.
The film is based on a 2003 French movie called “Nathalie” by Anne Fontaine that starred Emmanuelle Béart as the hired seduction.
Starring Amanda Seyfried, Liam Neeson, Julianne Moore, Nina Dobrev, Max Thierio, Meghan Heffern, Laura DeCarteret, Mishu Vellani, and directed by Atom Egoyan.
Try to resist her March 19, 2010.
