An Unnerving Trailer For David W. Edwards’ Nightscape Appears Online

If, like me, you didn’t have an opportunity to attend the New York Horror Fest this week, you’ll be pleased to know that the strange and darkly mezmerizing clip for writer/director David W. Edwards’ upcoming horror/fantasy “Nightscape” has kindly motivated itself onto various genre-friendly websites for your viewing pleasure. The film, which finds a group of teenagers fighting for survival in a surreal landscape teeming with bizarre creatures and pulsating pods, won’t see the light of day until sometime in 2011, though the trailer embedded below will certainly keep me salivating until my grubby little hands have wrapped themselves around a legitimate copy of the feature. I’m not entirely sure what, exactly, is transpiring in this seriously freakly little clip, but I’m definitely excited to find out. Enjoy!
