And the Villains for Nolan’s Batman 3 Are … Joker, Catwoman, AND Two-Face?

If this rumor of Catwoman, Joker, AND Two-Face being the villains in the third “Batman Begins” movie is true, then it appears Hollywood is slow to learn. No, let me rephrase that: Hollywood is so thick that they can’t look back a few years to see what they did wrong, because they’re going to repeat it all over again with the third installment. Of course, this is keeping in mind the “if this is true” part, because word from Cinema Blend is that a reliable scooper has told them that Nolan is seriously considering not one, not two, but three villains for the third installment in his Batman reboot. The optimist in me would like to believe that Christopher Nolan is no Hollywood hack, so he wouldn’t go such a silly route, but the pessimist in me says: “Yeah, right, didn’t you think that way about Sam Raimi, too, and how did THAT turn out with ‘Spider-Man 3′?”

More:

One of our most reliable, long time scoopers just sent us the following tidbit: “Word is that Heath Ledger could be coming back in the next sequel which will have Two Face as the main villain.”

Even more exciting than the idea that we may get the Joker in more than one movie is the identity of another villain who may be in Batman 3. According to our source, “it could also include a certain female feline as well.”

I think everyone knew and expected that Two-Face would be the villain for part three, with his character being set up as a Batman loyalist/ally in “The Dark Knight”, but keeping the Joker around, and then ADDING Catwoman to Part 3 is just repeating the same mistakes all directors do with their superhero franchises.

Of course, this is all rumor, so all this huffing and puffing may be an exercise in pointlessness…

I’d love to see Catwoman in the next Batman, as long as she’s thin, sexy, and evil. ;] I think the top 3 women best for the role would indeed be; Jessica Biel, Kiera Knightley, or someone that looks similar to Michelle Pfeiffer? Best of luck to Nolan with this 3rd film!

nolan wont wind up using depp to play the riddler even if he uses the riddler… my guess is Guy Pearce or David Tennant, if not then the possibility of Catwoman i dont know why but i see Ali Larter as a possibility for her… as far as Mr. Freeze i see Clive Owen as a possibility. Harleyquinn will probably wind up being imported in as a replacement for Joker since she is a follower of the Joker and he’s really not coming back RIP Heath, i could see Megan Fox taking on that role depending on how intense her role in Transformers 2 is and depending on if she matures more as an actress… i wouldn’t be surprised if Tiny Lister’s character in TDK becomes Bane either.. and the catwoman reference from TDK really makes it look like Gordons daughter is going to grow up sooner than later and become BatGirl as well, i think thats where you’d see Amy Smart come into the mix

The dark knight was great but if Christopher Nolan is smart he wont even consider doing another movie. The portrayal of two-face was vary weak, and having him in another movie would be a waste, not only could two face possibly have died but even if he was still alive, commisioner gordon would have been able to arrest him. After the performance by the joker, no batman movie would ever be able to top the dark knight. If there is another batman movie it wont be Nolan directing, he left the ending open to allow the viewers to interpret what they want.

Wo wo wo guys. I think it would be a terrible idea to do a catwoman villain for the sequel. Hasn’t Hollywood learned it’s mistake from the other catwoman movies? The third part of Batman needs to introduce villains that will surprise and entertain the audience. That is why everyone loves the new Dark Knight: nobody expected Heath to deliver such an outstanding performance. Not only that, he gave a unique interpretation of the Joker. The villains of Batman need to be redeamed from the previous films. I think that if somehow they can keep Twoface around, they should. It has already brewed an interesting story. But, he should not be the focus of the movie. He needs a partner in crime, much like the previous film. And does anyone remember who that was? Give up? The Riddler! I think that intoducing the Riddler would be a huge success. The Riddler needs to be red defined however. I hate Jim Carrey’s approach. Someone else needs to step up to the plate.

    Pics for future Batman Films:

For one they need to find someone to cameo Joker if they want to do a trail.

No Ivy, No Penguin, No Robin, No Freeze.

Catwoman played by Kate Beckinsale and/or Marnette Patterson
Riddler played by either David Tennent or Robin Williams
