If you look at the comics, the recent ones from about 8 years ago. It was written as the true story of batman. In detail the comics were a script. If you read them, 'batman begins' and 'the dark knight' have stayed true to the comics. The problem is joker. Joker was suppose to be around for the third movie. Rumor has it that they used unshown footage and sound clips from ledger for parts of the untitled batman project set for 2011. I believe they should kill off the character by blowing up arkham asylum. In honor of ledger. The hidden messages about cats I caught on to, but nolan is still deciding if he can make her dark enough. I mean these films are pretty dark. The comics show riddler and catwoman next. And two face didn't die. It showed that, but with the twists of these, u never know. Villians for three would be fantastic for (excluding the joker) it to be the riddler, two face, and maybe catwoman. Depp would be a good riddler, but I'm still torn on the idea. And eckhart really wants to be in the next one. So why not... as for robin. I never liked him. He always had a slightly evil side. That would make a good twist, but we aren't ready for it. He could also easily be adapted to fit the realistic tone of the films. But I also really like the idea of bringing in some unexpected villains such as Holiday, Zsasz or Black Mask. Zsasz particularly could reintroduce the problem left unsolved at the end of Batman Begins... where did all the homicidal maniacs from Arkham go? At the same time, I'd really like to see Catwoman. She's fit in well with where the plot left off at the end of The Dark Knight (she is a talented burglar after all, and the mob lost a ton of money due to the Joker's little bonfire). And her black clad, whip wielding silhouette would complement the films' gothic style. I don't think she should be the main villain by any means, but she does bring some interesting complexities into the mix. As we've seen with Rachel, Bruce has a tendency to obsess over the women he's attracted to. What would it mean if he were to obsess over a villain, a person's whose actions run directly contrary to his own honorable convictions? His struggle with this attraction would certainly bring out the darkness and moral ambiguity in Bruce's personality, not to mention emphasize how human nature makes total incorruptibility impossible for Batman. In many ways, Catwoman could cause more trouble than the Joker in tempting Bruce to break the rules. Besides, I feel like Bruce's character wasn't explored as much as it could have been in The Dark Knight, and examining the object of a person's attraction can tell a lot about who that person is. So many possibilities... so tough... But the important thing is to develop the main story, and the main story is the salvation or damnation of Gotham City and how Batman's role in this battle has brought out positive and negative extremes. I'd like to see the two girls go at it sometime in the movie. everyone keeps saying how batman can’t have more than three villains because of spiderman. Gess what spiderman is different than batman. There was three villains in the dark night but everyone just says there are two. Two face, scarecrow made a cameo and of course the joker. If I was the director in the new batman I would recast jim Carey as the riddler, angelina jolie as the catwoman, get two face back, get the joker escaping from prison right at the start and get him as a cliff hanger for the new batman and watever his girlfriends name is to come in. I’d like to see the two girls go at it sometime in the movie.
