Angelina Jolie is looking pretty horny in this new poster for director Robert Stromberg’s “Maleficent.” Heh. Sorry. I know, too easy, right? Like shooting ducks in a barrel. Or is that fish? Either/or, I guess. Anyways, here’s a new poster for “Maleficent.”
What’s the film about, anyway? Something about Disney’s villain not being all that bad. You can read the official synopsis below. The movie is essentially being sold on the basis of Angelina Jolie playing a sexy villainous, let’s not fool ourselves, eh? Maybe they should make a movie starring Jolie’s Evil Queen and Charlize Theron’s Evil Queen from “Snow White and the Huntsman.” I’d watch that.
“Maleficent” explores the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain from the classic “Sleeping Beauty” and the elements of her betrayal that ultimately turn her pure heart to stone. Driven by revenge and a fierce desire to protect the moors over which she presides, Maleficent cruelly places an irrevocable curse upon the human king’s newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Aurora is caught in the middle of the seething conflict between the forest kingdom she has grown to love and the human kingdom that holds her legacy. Maleficent realizes that Aurora may hold the key to peace in the land and is forced to take drastic actions that will change both worlds forever.
Starring Angelina Jolie, Sharlto Copley, Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville.
Angie spellbounds this May 30, 2014.
