Anne Hathaway, easily the sexiest Catwoman since Catwoman found her catsuit and tried it on, is reportedly “near a deal” to re-team with her “The Dark Knight Rises” director Christopher Nolan on his upcoming sci-fi epic “Interstellar”.

If the deal goes through, Hathaway will be the female lead to Matthew McConaughey’s male lead. No word on what characters the two will be playing, since Nolan and his screenwriter/brother Jonathan Nolan are into that whole secrecy thing. Which pretty much just begs the fanboy community to dig and dig and dig.

We’ll know soon enough, fanboys, soon enough.

For now, “Interstellar” apparently involves space exploration, wormholes, and possibly time travel. Or possibly none of the above. Who knows. This is the guy who gave us “Inception”, after all. We’ll know what “Interstellar” is really about when we know what it’s really about.

“Interstellar” was originally supposed to be directed by Steven Spielberg, based on a script by the younger Nolan. After Spielberg bailed, the older Nolan took over. It won’t entirely be the same script, though, since word is it’s an infusion of the younger Nolan’s existing script and some ideas the older Nolan came up with. Whatever it ends up being, let’s face it, it’s the film of 2014 by a longshot.
