I don’t expect this to be a very big role, but it allows us to talk about Zack Snyder’s upcoming “The Man of Steel”, and let’s face it, aside from Marvel’s “The Avengers”, this is THE superhero movie of 2012.
The latest news from Metropolis has “Dollhouse” star Harry Lennix joining the cast. The actor is set to play “a high-ranking military officer named General Swanwick”. He joins the recently cast Christopher Meloni, who is also playing another General in the movie. Lots of Generals running around Snyder’s movie. Makes you wonder if Superman will be facing not just General Zod in the reboot, but possibly the U.S. Army as well?
We shall see when Henry Cavill steps into the Big Blue Boy Scout’s uniform in 2012. He’s joined by Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Michael Shannon as General Zod.
