Another Image from Dragonball’s Mexican Set

Okay, so I’ll be frank with you: I really have no idea what Dragonball is, was supposed to be, etc. All I know is that my nephews are crazy about this thing, but I could never get past the big hair and crazy, blurring backgrounds. In any case, here’s the latest image from the set of the movie, currently shooting in Mexico with, apparently from the comments in the other Dragonball posts, a cast that no one really likes, and some are even planning on boycotting! And nope, I have no idea what this image shows, but it seems to be some kind of pit with bubbling green goo. Or something.

A young boy named Goku seeks out upon his grandfather’s dying request to find the great Master Roshi and gather all seven Dragon Balls (of which he has one) in order to prevent Piccolo from succeeding in his desire to use the Dragon Balls to take over the world.

James Wong directs. “Dragonball” is slated for an April 3 2009 release.

I’m sad to hear people bad-mouthing this project. DBZ fans have been waiting for years for the live action movie to come out. It’s so hyped up in all of our minds, that nothing can live up to our expectations, so why not stop complaining about it, sit back, and enjoy the ride?

those guys who keeps on complaining… MAKE YOUR OWN MOVIE!!!!!

    I totally agree Monkery.
To some people, it will not be a good DBZ movie, but it will be a GOOD movie.
That is what is important to them, they are trying to expand the fan base for DBZ, maybe for later projects…..?

Why on Earth would anyone who has knowledge of what Dragonball is NOT bad mouth this movie?
Some people just have to defend every crime Hollywood exacts against human culture.
