Another look at the insanity that is Jason Statham’s “Crank” sequel, one of those movies you should definitely only see if you saw the first one and loved it (or kinda liked it), and you have a sense of humor. That second part is very important. This thing looks like it’s all kinds of offensive, basically the first movie taken to the nth degree, if by “nth” you mean molesting old ladies on the streets.
The plot: He was dead, but he got better. After his plummet from a helicopter at the end of the first movie, Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) somehow survives, and now must face a Chinese mobster who has stolen his nearly indestructible heart and replaced it with a battery-powered ticker that requires regular jolts of electricity to keep working.
