If you’ve been waiting to see director Anthony DiBlasi’s haunted tale “Cassadaga” (and really, who hasn’t?), then your long wait has finally paid off, kids. Archstone Distribution has now set the film for release later this month on VOD and theaters. Though let’s face it, it’ll probably be easier to see the film on VOD, because I doubt if it’ll be opening anywhere near you. Until then, enjoy a new trailer and a new poster from the horror flick.

Seance, am I right people?

CASSADAGA tells the story of Lily Morel (Kelen Coleman), a post-lingually deaf artist, who participates in a séance in the spiritualist community of Cassadaga. But instead of getting closure with her recently departed sister, Lily contacts the vengeful ghost of a murdered woman. As the ghost becomes increasingly angry and violent, Lily rushes to unravel the mysterious circumstances surrounding the woman’s death – a task that will bring her face-to-face with a sadistic serial killer who turns his victims into human marionette dolls.

Starring Kevin Alejandro, Kelen Coleman, Louise Fletcher, Rus Blackwell, Hank Stone, J LaRose, and Amy LoCicero.

Opening its doors in VOD and theaters this October 11, 2013.
