Antoine Fuqua’s Brooklyn’s Finest Trailer Reminds you that Cops are Human, Too

This … is not going to turn out well for any of our three main characters. Let’s face it, if you don’t get that vibe after seeing this first trailer for Antoine Fuqua’s cop movie “Brooklyn’s Finest”, you probably don’t have your “it’s all gonna turn to shit” hat on, because there’s nothing in this trailer that leads you to believe happy endings await any one of our three main characters — the tired veteran cop who just wants to retire, the ambitious young cop who needs to make a quick score, and the deep, deep, deep undercover cop who may be having second thoughts. Okay, there’s a chance for one of them, but come on, you know there’s nothing for the other two, right? Behold the very gritty lives of “Brooklyn’s Finest”.

Starring Richard Gere, Don Cheadle, Ethan Hawke, Wesley Snipes, Jesse Williams, Lili Taylor, Ellen Barkin, Will Patton, Brian F. O’Byrne, Vincent D’Onofrio, and directed by Antoine Fuqua (“Training Day”).

And yes, you read that right — Wesley Snipes! Nino Brown himself gets back into the “New Jack City” game March 5, 2010.
