Apparently Adam Sandler’s Idea of Playing Female Involves a Heavy Lisp

Tired of playing “different” characters that simply involves him dropping his voice real low and speaking in a guttural tone, Adam Sandler is now playing his twin sister in a new movie, but go figure, Adam Sandler’s idea of playing a “female” version of himself involves affecting a heavy lisp. Okay, so that’s basically the only idea he has to playing female, because take away the lisp, and it’s just Sandler playing Sandler. And yes, I am absolutely only posting this trailer for “Jack and Jill” because I can make fun of Sandler’s lisping-as-a-female act. So sue me, this is the kind of thing that makes life worth living nowadays.

Jack Sadelstein, a successful advertising executive in Los Angeles with a beautiful wife and kids, who dreads one event each year: the Thanksgiving visit of his identical twin sister Jill. Jill’s neediness and passive-aggressiveness is maddening to Jack, turning his normally tranquil life upside down.

Starring Adam Sandler as both Jack and Jill, Katie Holmes as Jack’s wife, Al Pacino as Al Pacino, and apparently Shaquille O’Neal shows up somewhere as either himself or a big black guy who used to play basketball. Directed by Sandler partner in crime Dennis Dugan.

Coming to theaterssssss November 11, 2011.
