Originally set to wreak havoc upon mankind once again sometime next year, the dinos of “Jurassic Park 4” have been pushed back to 2015, at least according to this “Jurassic Park 4” banner recently spotted over at the Licensing Expo 2013.
No word on the plot or what stars from the previous three movies will be involved (though I suspect at least a few of them will be, if just to tie this fourth installment with the previous entries), but we do know that “Safety Not Guaranteed” director Colin Trevorrow will be making his Hollywood blockbuster debut on the film, directing from a script by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver.
It’s been a while since we’ve had a “Jurassic Park”. The last one, the third part, was all the way back in 2001, and was directed by “Captain America: The First Avenger’s” Joe Johnston. I kind of liked that one for what it was — a basic creature feature with state-of-the-art (at least for the time) CGI.
Look for the rampaging dinos to rampage once again in 2015.
In the meantime, if you sense a trembling and it’s not an Earthquake, it’s time to run. FAST.
