Arnold and Sly’s Escape Plan Gets a Poster

Escape Plan (2013) Movie Poster

Apparently the world just isn’t ready to accept Sylvester Stallone or his buddy Arnold Schwarzenegger as stand-alone action movie stars anymore, if the box office numbers for the two’s recent solo efforts are any indication. Sly bombed badly with “Bullet to the Head”, and Arnold’s “The Last Stand” was standing on one rickety leg even before the film opened. But taking a page from his “Expendables” franchise, Sly is looking to double his chances at the box office with “Escape Plan” by doubling up on the star power, once again re-teaming with Arnold as cons looking to bust out of jail.

Here’s the first poster for their latest, “Escape Plan”, directed by Mikael Håfström (“1408″). It’s like “The Expendables”, minus everyone else.

Action superstars Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger team up in the action-thriller ESCAPE PLAN. Ray Breslin (Stallone), the world’s foremost authority on structural security, agrees to take on one last job: breaking out of an ultra-secret, high-tech facility called “The Tomb.” But when he is wrongly imprisoned, he must recruit fellow inmate Emil Rottmayer (Schwarzenegger) to help devise a daring, nearly impossible plan to escape from the most protected and fortified prison ever built.

The film also stars Jim Caviezel, Vincent D’Onofrio, Sam Neill, Vinnie Jones, 50 Cent, Amy Ryan, Faran Tahir, and Matt Gerald.

Putting the plan into motion this October 18, 2013.
