Jamie Chung Steams up Maxim
Jamie Chung sure has come a long way from junk like The Real World. The woman is now a bona fide movie star. Who would have thunk any one of those MTV reality TV shows would ever get this far? I don’t think people even know that Jamie Chung used to be on the Real World. I certainly didn’t. She’s really hot, too, which makes her sort of perfect for a reality TV show where people make out. I guess that’s why she was cast. Now she’s in Maxim Magazine looking even hotter than ever. Holy crap, I gotta go see “Dragonball”…
Jamie Chung Bikini Modeling Pictures
Jamie Chung is set to blow up when the movie “Dragonball” opens in theaters, but until then here are some bikini pictures of her from her modeling days, before the whole acting thing took off. Don’t worry if you don’t know who Jamie Chung is, just take the fact that she’s a gorgeous Asian chick who looks like a million bucks in a bikini and go with it. What are you, dumb? I said just go with it! Ahem. So, here are some bikini pictures of Jamie Chung. Please to enjoy.
Devon Aoki Promos from 2 Fast 2 Furious
Let’s face it, if you didn’t say out loud (or whispered), “Holy shit, who is that hot girl in the cowboy chaps?” when Devon Aoki first showed up onscreen in the movie “2 Fast 2 Furious”, then you just don’t like girls. “2 Fast 2 Furious”, the sequel to “The Fast and the Furious” was where we all fell in lust with Japanese model/actress Devon Aoki, who has since gone on to do a variety of movies, including “Sin City” and “D.O.A.” The only bad thing about Devon’s role in “2 Fast 2 Furious”? They partnered her up with that ridiculously bad actor and rapper Ludicrus or however the hell you spell his misspelled name. Anyways, here are some promos of Devon Aoki from “2 Fast 2 Furious”. Smoking.
Lucy Liu Joins Dirty Sexy Money Show
Lucy Liu is probably the most famous Asian actress in Hollywood right now, and Hollywood still manages to squander her talents. That just goes to show you how crappy Hollywood is right now, but let’s not get into that, it just makes me mad thinking about it. Anyways, Lucy Liu will be joining the second season of ABC’s risque primetime show Dirty Sexy Money in its second season. I believe she’s joining the show, because I don’t recall her having been on the show in the first season, although, you know, I could be wrong. Anyways, here are some promos she did for the show. Hot, hot, HOT.
Jamie Chung in Samurai Girl Promos
If you still don’t know the name Jamie Chung by now, you probably will very soon. Besides co-starring in what might be a surprise hit in the live-action movie version of the popular “Dragonball” anime, which is set to be released later next year, she’s also the star of ABC Family’s original mini-series “Samurai Girl”, in which she plays, well, a samurai girl. The movie has Jamie Chung fighting the Yakuza, the Japanese underworld, using her forefather’s Samurai skills. Basically, a hot girl kicks ass with a big ass sword. Tell me that doesn’t sound like a good day at the movies! Some promos of Chung from the movie below.
Maggie Q. Promotes Three Kingdoms
My prediction is that by the time Maggie Q.’s new movie, the Chinese action epic “Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon” arrives in the U.S. and other English-speaking areas, they’ll be promoting this as starring Maggie Q., and pretty much that’s it. That’s how big Maggie Q. has become around here, and just a measuring stick for how big she’ll keep getting. In any case, here’s Maggie Q., co-star Andy Lau, and Sammo Hung promoting “Three Kingdoms”. I’m really looking forward to this movie; it has the makings of being extremely good.
Maggie Q. at the 2007 ESPY Awards
The big question after seeing these pictures of Maggie Q. at the 2007 ESPY Awards is, “Wow, she looks really good, I wonder if I have a shot?” And once you’re through with that, the second thought is, “Dude, is the ‘Mac’ guy dating Maggie Q.?” Maybe, maybe not. For those of you who don’t know, the guy is Justin Long, Maggie co-star in “Live Free or Die Hard”, which also starred some guy named Bruce Willis. Maybe you’ve heard of him? Anyways, here’s Maggie Q. arriving on the red carpet of the 2007 ESPY Awards. It’s an Awards show for sports.
Kelly Hu in Yellow Magazine, Plus Video
The always stunning Kelly Hu looking stunning in the May issue of Yellow Magazine, which I’m assuming is some kind of Asian-American themed magazine, or otherwise it’s just wrong. Not sure what Kelly’s up to at the moment, but IMDB lists her at being involved in three movies, including “The Tournament”, which really sounds cool. In the film, assassins are brought to one town to duke it out for a large purse (as in money, not the kind women carry around, ahem). Although I’m sure if they wanted a purse, just a regular purse, they could buy one with their winnings. But I digress.
Yunjin Kim is No Longer “Lost”
In an interview with the Digital Chosunilbo, “Lost” star Yunjin Kim talks about working in America, looking for love, and her idea of beauty. The most interesting thing about the article? Kim was asked about her Hollywood salary, and she mentions that she makes $100,000 per episode for “Lost”. So multiply that by 24 episodes a year and Kim makes $2.4 million a year on “Lost” alone! Wow, nice chunk of change if you can get it, I always say. Read the rest of the article for more of Yunjin Kim’s thoughts on love, work, and Hollywood.
Maggie Q. at a Die Hard Premiere
I’m not sure where Maggie Q is at this movie premiere of “Live Free or Die Hard”, or as it’s known overseas, “Die Hard 4.0″ (because, you know, the movie involves cyber terrorism). But since she was in Germany recently, and I haven’t heard of a U.S. premiere in the States for the movie, I’m going to guess that Maggie Q was walking the red carpet overseas, probably in Europe somewhere. Maybe Germany? Anyways, it doesn’t matter. Here’s Maggie Q looking gorgeous.
Maggie Q. Promotes Live Free or Die Hard in Germany
How great is it that Maggie Q.’s Hollywood career is taking off? Besides promoting “Live Free or Die Hard” in Germany, she’s got two other Hollywood movies coming, the screwball comedy “Balls of Fury” and the drama “The Tourist”. Which doesn’t mean she’s forgotten her Hong Kong roots. She’s also got “Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon” with Andy Lau coming out in 2008. Basically, Maggie Q. is doing everything right, and people are taking notice. I don’t want to jinx her, but she might just be the first Chinese actress to make major in-roads in Hollywood.
Ming-Na at the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball
We haven’t seen a whole lot of Ming-Na since her FOX show “Vanished” got canceled. Which is a shame, because she’s really one of the only few Chinese actresses working constantly in Hollywood today. Anyways, finally spotted Ming-Na attending the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball, and looking good doing it, too. Love the dress, but more importantly, love the woman. Hopes she returns to TV very soon, and maybe a hit show this time…
Kelly Hu Bikini Photoshoot
I’m very angry at Hollywood for continuing to ignore Kelly Hu as a viable leading lady in their movies. What’s the woman have to do, drop kick you idiots in the face? (Although I have to admit, I’d pay money to see that happen. Hollywood has it coming!) Give this woman a leading role in your movies now! But anyways, until that happens, we’ll just have to satisfy our Kelly Hu kick with these pictures of her from a recent bikini photoshoot. Have I mention how good Kelly Hu looks in a bikini? If not, I always meant to.
Michelle Wie at the “Spider-Man 3″ Premiere in Tokyo
It’s kind of odd to see golfing wunderkin Michelle Wie to be off the gold course or wearing anything other than a plaid skirt and swinging a golf club. But hey, who says you have to live to work? It should be working to live, which is what Michelle Wie seems to be doing here, as she’s taking time off the golf stuff to attending the Tokyo World Premiere of the latest “Spider-Man” movies. Oh, to be famous and attending world premieres…
Pool Hustler Jeanette Lee, The Black Widow
One of the primary reasons why I even bother watching ESPN2 is because of their occasional coverage of pool competitions. The ladies pool competitions, of course. (What’s the point in watching the men play? I can do that all day at my local poolhall.) But when you can watch uber babes like Jeanette Lee, aka The Black Widow, bend over a pool table with a long stick and line up — um, you know what I’m saying. Although half-Korean, Jeanette Lee is an American pool player, born in Brooklyn, New York. You gotta be pretty tough to grow up in Brooklyn, that’s for sure.
A Kelly Hu Bikini Moment
It’s still unknown if Kelly Hu’s ABC sitcom “In Case of Emergency” will make it through its first year, or if it’s been cancelled after only 13 episodes. I’m guessing it’s the latter, because I haven’t heard a thing about it for a while now. Which is a shame, because seeing Kelly Hu on TV once a week was a great thing. Anyways, she’s still got a movie career going, and I’m sure she’ll land on her feet easily enough. If anything, “In Case of Emergency” will probably convince people that she can play more than just the “dragon lady” stereotype in movies. Here’s a Kelly Hu bikini moment.
Maggie Q. at the Asian Film Awards
If you’re going to have a film awards called the “Asian Film Awards”, and try to make it the Asian equivalent of the Oscars (good luck there, chief!), you better invite one of the most gorgeous Asian women working in Asian films (and Hollywood!) today. That would be Maggie Q., in case you didn’t know. With films like “Mission Impossible 3″ and the upcoming “Live Free or Die Hard” on her resume, Maggie Q. should probably start going to more Hollywood parties than Asian ones. But hell, we’re glad she’s anywhere, especially looking this fine.
Asian Supermodel Jarah Mariano
It’s not everyday I get to use the words “Asian” and “Supermodel” in the same sentence, but I’m able to do that when making this post about the gorgeous Jarah Mariano, an Asian-American supermodel with Hawaiian, Korean and Chinese blood in her. Besides having done work for Armani Exchange, Sephora, Abercrombie & Fitch, and PacSun, she’s also slipped on the lingerie of and walked the runway for Victoria’s Secret. She currently lives in New York, and graduated from Pace University.
“Lost’s” Yunjin Kim in Maxim 2007
Yunjin Kim has been a favorite Korean actress of mine for a long time now. She’s very talented, and she’s got that kind of sad, sad face that makes her just perfect for melodramas. Thank God for “Lost”, or Western audiences might never have known about Yunjin Kim. Here she is in the latest 2007 issue of Maxim looking goooooooood. Not just “good”, but “gooooooooood”.
Michelle Kwan Bikini Pictures
During the 2006 Winter Olympics, American’s skating sweetheart Michelle Kwan was supposed to finally get the Olympics monkey off her back and breakthrough onto the gold metal stand. Alas, it didn’t happen, but — um, where was I? Oh yeah, here’s California’s own Michelle Kwan in a poolside bikini photoshoot. I’m not even sure if Michelle is still skating professional, and I don’t really care. I mean, when was the last time I watched ice skating? Exactly. But I sure would like to see more of this Michelle. Hubba hubba!
