Korean Model Hwang Mi Hee
Don’t know who Hwang Mi Hee is? Me, neither. Well, until now, that is. Now we know who Hwang Mi Hee is. She’s a Korean model and, um, well, that’s pretty much it. But take a look at these pictures of some of her modeling gigs. Okay, so maybe she could take off a little bit more clothes, or be a little bit sexier, but that should be coming down the line as she gets more into this modeling biz. Take a look at the Victoria’s Secret girls. That’s what modeling is about, baby! Anyways, these pics of Hwang Mi Hee aren’t the best there is, but you know, they could be worst. Okay, they could be much better, but we’ll take what we can get at the moment.
South Korea’s Shim Mina
Shim Mina’s became famous when someone with a camera realized she was a hot girl and started snapping pictures of her during the World Cup. She’s managed to parlay that brief bit of celebrity into a multi-album record deal, modeling gigs, and shot her way into our hearts and minds. Well, okay, maybe not our hearts and minds, but you know, other places on our body. Ahem. Anyways, I’ve never heard Shim Mina sing, but man, does she look good or does she look good? Yeah, I’m going to have to go with Shim Mina looking good. Sure, she plays up the sexy image to further her singing career, but whose complaining? Maybe some girls, but definitely not the boys out there!
Thai Model and Actress Sonia Couling
I have to admit that Sonia Couling is one of the hottest Thai models/actresses I’ve seen yet. She’s got a really nice looking body, and that face could probably start wars. Here’s what Wikipedia has to say about her: “Sonia Couling is well known in Thailand as a fashion model and Cover girl. She has acted in many Thai TV shows, been a VJ for MTV Singapore, and starred in one film, Kon Puan Sai Fah (Destiny Upside Down). Jarah Mariano in 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue
Her name is Jarah Mariano, she’s one of the first Asian supermodels out there, and she’s just about to hit the big time. Her ticket? An appearance in the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue — her very first appearance in the prestigious magazine that creates superstars out of everyday models. Well, now it’s Jarah Mariano’s turn, and wow, here’s her entire Sports Illustrated gallery, two-piece bikini included. And just in case you were wondering, Mariano is definitely Asian (as if you couldn’t tell), and is of Hawaiian, Korean, and Chinese descent. Welcome to the big time, Jarah!
Asian Fitness TV Host Kiana Tom
I’m usually not a fan of women with too much muscles, but Hawaiian born TV fitness babe Kiana Tom sure does it for me. She’s not only a former Los Angeles Raiders cheerleader (is that good or bad? the Raiders are a pretty awful team), she’s also parts Chinese, Hawaiian and Irish. She’s actually taller than she looks — about 5′6″ — and although I could do without the big fake chest she’s showing off, well, she is pretty damn hot, and that rack — fake or not — certainly looks damn good on her. For a 40-something gal, Kiana Tom sure looks damn good. If she had kids (I don’t know if she does or not), she would certainly qualify as a MILF.
Tokyo Singer Model Actress Sawajiri Erika
So who exactly is 21-year old Sawajiri Erika? Here’s a short bio from Wikipedia: “Her alias in her music career was Kaoru Amane, but she has recently started her own project under the name Erika. She is currently affiliated with Sony for her record label as formerly Kaoru Amane and later Erika, and Stardust Promotion for her talent agency as her real name, Erika Sawajiri, and became popular after playing a girl who suffered from an intractable disease called spinocerebellar degeneration (SCD) in the nonfiction drama ‘1 Litre of Tears’.” Got all that?
Korean Car Babe Sun Hee Yoon
I have almost no idea who Sun Hee Yoon is except two things: She’s Korean, and she does something involving cars. I don’t know what that “something” is, but I don’t think it’s going out on a limb to say that she’s not a grease monkey. Unless, of course, the Koreans have hotter grease monkeys than the fat, stinky guys that works over here. Doubtful, but hey, hope springs eternal, right? Anyhoo. I’m not sure how famous Sun Hee Yoon really is over in Korea, but she’s famous enough for us to justify putting her here, so here she is and here she will stay. Voom voom, anyone?
Thai Model Karnchanit Summakul in Maxim
Color me surprised. I didn’t even know Maxim Magazine had a Thailand version of their magazine! Where else has Maxim’s long arm reached? I know they’re in Russia, all of Europe, and South Korea, but is there a Japanese version? I don’t know, I’ve never heard of it, but then again, I’ve also never heard of the Thai version either until now. The cover girl for this edition is Karnchanit Summakul. This is no doubt Karnchanit’s first big shot at the big time, as I think before she was just known as a video model. She’s looking good, and should do pretty well in the modeling game.
Maggie Q. at a Die Hard Premiere
I’m not sure where Maggie Q is at this movie premiere of “Live Free or Die Hard”, or as it’s known overseas, “Die Hard 4.0″ (because, you know, the movie involves cyber terrorism). But since she was in Germany recently, and I haven’t heard of a U.S. premiere in the States for the movie, I’m going to guess that Maggie Q was walking the red carpet overseas, probably in Europe somewhere. Maybe Germany? Anyways, it doesn’t matter. Here’s Maggie Q looking gorgeous.
Michelle Wie at the “Spider-Man 3″ Premiere in Tokyo
It’s kind of odd to see golfing wunderkin Michelle Wie to be off the gold course or wearing anything other than a plaid skirt and swinging a golf club. But hey, who says you have to live to work? It should be working to live, which is what Michelle Wie seems to be doing here, as she’s taking time off the golf stuff to attending the Tokyo World Premiere of the latest “Spider-Man” movies. Oh, to be famous and attending world premieres…

It’s not everyday I get to use the words “Asian” and “Supermodel” in the same sentence, but I’m able to do that when making this post about the gorgeous Jarah Mariano, an Asian-American supermodel with Hawaiian, Korean and Chinese blood in her. Besides having done work for Armani Exchange, Sephora, Abercrombie & Fitch, and PacSun, she’s also slipped on the lingerie of and walked the runway for Victoria’s Secret. She currently lives in New York, and graduated from Pace University.
Car Girl Kay Sivilay
Who is Asian car girl Kay Sivilay? Not sure. Here’s what Wikipedia says about her: “Kay Sivilay is a model of predominantly Lao, with some Thai, Chinese, and French descent. She is also famous for her appearances in import car magazines, and more recently in Playboy She is retired from the modeling profession and her website is no longer active.” Bummer on the last part. That means no more pictures like these!
Yukie Nakama
If you aren’t immediately captivated by Yukie Nakama’s smile or perfectly oval shaped face, then you’re not a warm blooded man. Yuki Nakama has been in movies like “Shinobi: Heart Under Blade” and “Trick 2″, and is an actress, musician, and former idol (i.e. she used to model Japanese calendars and “picture books”). Jun Natsukawa is a Japanese idol from Tokyo, Japan. In October 2005, she released a music cd titled Himetra Trance in which she covered the theme song from the anime Cat’s Eye. She’s made an appearance on the Japanese television show Pink no Idenshi, as a schoolgirl who falls in love with her teacher; and as herself on the reality show Geirinji. Miss Japan 2006 Kurara Chibana and Others
The lovely Miss Japan for 2006 Kurara Chibana may have lost out on the Miss Universe crown to Miss Puerto Rico, but she still remains in our heart for being one fine Asian woman. If it’s not that lean physique, it’s her Samurai outfit during the pageant that will be the most memorable. And I bet Miss Japan wouldn’t have fainted like Miss Puerto Rico did after the pageant, that’s for sure. Here are some contestants along with Kurara Chibana at the official Miss Japan 2006 pageant. I’m really not sure why the women are required to walk in high heels and two-piece bikinis while holding a store bag, but that’s the Japanese for ya.

Japanese model/actress Devon Aoki (soon to be seen in “Dead or Alive”) does Betty Boop. It’s playful and sexy (I doubt Betty Boop was ever this sexy), and pure Devon Aoki. The second picture is the best of the bunch, but the rest ain’t all bad either.

I’m really not sure what Devon Aoki is selling here, but these appear to be advertising pictures for a product of some kind. Anyways, Devon is in black and white and on a beach somewhere, and it really brings out her freckles. I didn’t even know she had freckles until now. Go figure.
The WWE’s Gail Kim – Part 2
The second part of our profile of Korean-Canadian Gail Kim, aka “La Felina” in the WWE’s wrestling ring. Here’s a trivia about Gail: she won the WWE Women’s Championship in her debut match on June 30, 2003. Gail has since left the WWE in 2004 and is now wrestling for TNA, which I’m assuming is another wrestling organization. I think. Anyways, here’s the second part of the Gail Kim picture set.
