Kelly Hu in Yellow Magazine, Plus Video
The always stunning Kelly Hu looking stunning in the May issue of Yellow Magazine, which I’m assuming is some kind of Asian-American themed magazine, or otherwise it’s just wrong. Not sure what Kelly’s up to at the moment, but IMDB lists her at being involved in three movies, including “The Tournament”, which really sounds cool. In the film, assassins are brought to one town to duke it out for a large purse (as in money, not the kind women carry around, ahem). Although I’m sure if they wanted a purse, just a regular purse, they could buy one with their winnings. But I digress.

I’m very angry at Hollywood for continuing to ignore Kelly Hu as a viable leading lady in their movies. What’s the woman have to do, drop kick you idiots in the face? (Although I have to admit, I’d pay money to see that happen. Hollywood has it coming!) Give this woman a leading role in your movies now! But anyways, until that happens, we’ll just have to satisfy our Kelly Hu kick with these pictures of her from a recent bikini photoshoot. Have I mention how good Kelly Hu looks in a bikini? If not, I always meant to.

Although Kelly Hu’s show “In Case of Emergency” was short-lived, it should have given her enough exposure (even a cancelled show gets plenty of exposure on TV) to help Kelly launch into more lucrative TV or movie work. Or at least that’s what we hope, because it would suck if Kelly Hu doesn’t get to do more TV or movies. In any case, here’s our favorite ass kicking Hawaiian at the 7th Annual Taurus World Stunt Awards. I’m guessing they give out awards to stuntmen or something.
Michelle Wie at the “Spider-Man 3″ Premiere in Tokyo
It’s kind of odd to see golfing wunderkin Michelle Wie to be off the gold course or wearing anything other than a plaid skirt and swinging a golf club. But hey, who says you have to live to work? It should be working to live, which is what Michelle Wie seems to be doing here, as she’s taking time off the golf stuff to attending the Tokyo World Premiere of the latest “Spider-Man” movies. A Kelly Hu Bikini Moment
It’s still unknown if Kelly Hu’s ABC sitcom “In Case of Emergency” will make it through its first year, or if it’s been cancelled after only 13 episodes. I’m guessing it’s the latter, because I haven’t heard a thing about it for a while now. Which is a shame, because seeing Kelly Hu on TV once a week was a great thing. Anyways, she’s still got a movie career going, and I’m sure she’ll land on her feet easily enough. If anything, “In Case of Emergency” will probably convince people that she can play more than just the “dragon lady” stereotype in movies. Here’s a Kelly Hu bikini moment.
Maggie Q. at the Asian Film Awards
If you’re going to have a film awards called the “Asian Film Awards”, and try to make it the Asian equivalent of the Oscars (good luck there, chief!), you better invite one of the most gorgeous Asian women working in Asian films (and Hollywood!) today. That would be Maggie Q., in case you didn’t know. With films like “Mission Impossible 3″ and the upcoming “Live Free or Die Hard” on her resume, Maggie Q. should probably start going to more Hollywood parties than Asian ones. But hell, we’re glad she’s anywhere, especially looking this fine.
Asian Supermodel Jarah Mariano
It’s not everyday I get to use the words “Asian” and “Supermodel” in the same sentence, but I’m able to do that when making this post about the gorgeous Jarah Mariano, an Asian-American supermodel with Hawaiian, Korean and Chinese blood in her. Besides having done work for Armani Exchange, Sephora, Abercrombie & Fitch, and PacSun, she’s also slipped on the lingerie of and walked the runway for Victoria’s Secret. She currently lives in New York, and graduated from Pace University.
Kelly Hu at the Disney/ABC All-Star Party
I hate to say it, Kelly Hu fans, but judging by the lack of buzz or talk surrounding Kelly’s new ABC sitcom “In case of Emergency”, I’m going to guess that the show isn’t doing very well, which usually translates into an early exit from the network’s airtime. Meaning all you Kelly Hu fans should tape all those “In Case of Emergency” episodes while you still can, because I don’t think you’re going to get the chance later on. Sorry, guys, but that’s network TV for ya. Here are some new Kelly Hu for ya.

What’s it about? “A group of thirtysomethings who all went to the same high school are reunited and realize their lives didn’t turn out as planned.” It’s supposed to be a comedy, I think. It co-stars David Arquette, Jonathan Silverman, Lori Loughlin, Greg Germann, and Nicholas Roget-King. Well at least they’re not making Kelly do martial arts on the show, so she’s definitely stretching her acting muscles.
Maggie Q.: Action Star?
Her break-through role in “Mission Impossible 3″ may have put Maggie Q. on the map in Hollywoodland, but it might also have stereotyped her in action roles. Take her upcoming role in the latest “Die Hard” sequel, and this photoshoot, which protrays Maggie Q. in a variety of “action” poses. Now granted, these action poses are also highly artsy fartsy and fashion-minded, but you get my point. She still looks hot, though.
Maggie Q. Joins “The Tourist” Cast
Man, I’m glad to see Maggie Q. getting her due in Hollywood. After the kinda failure of “Mission Impossible 3″ at the box office, I was a little worried she wouldn’t get anymore chance at the Hollywood brass ring, but I’m glad I was wrong. Here’s new that Maggie Q. isn’t just going to be in the latest “Die Hard” movie, but she’s also been cast alongside Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor in “The Tourist”. The film, described as a sexual thriller, “is about an accountant (McGregor) introduced to a mysterious sex club by his lawyer friend (Jackman). He soon becomes the prime suspect in a woman’s disappearance,” according to Variety.

Quite possibly some of the most gorgeous pictures of actress Kelly Hu I have come across. And no, she’s not even naked. Well, actually, she’s topless in a couple of photos, but nothing is showing. And you know what? That makes it even more sexy. Plus, there are a lot of really great close-up shots of Kelly Hu’s lovely face. That smile of hers is captivating, indeed. You can never get too much of Kelly Hu.

I’m assuming the “Photo Issue” is an issue of EW dedicated to photos, which is kind of odd as the magazine is loaded with pictures already. I mean, you don’t give people who reads about celebrities a lot of words; they love pictures. But I digress. Kelly needs to stay away from these parties and do a movie already. I haven’t seen her on the big screen in ages.
Maggie Q. is Red Hot
Hawaiian/Vietnamese/American Actress Maggie Q. has the distinction of being extremely tall, hot, and at the same time, flat-chested. Basically, she has what amounts to mesquito bumps where her breasts should be. Mind you, not that that’s a particularly bad thing, especially when she’s, well, pretty hot in just about every other respects. Check her out in “Mission: Impossible 3″, her big American break, if you haven’t already. She has a supporting role, but damn is she fine. It’s too bad “MI3″ wasn’t as big a hit as everyone expected it to be; Maggie’s career would have blown up if it had been.

After scouring the Internet looking for pictures of Kelly Hu at the 2006 Emmys, I didn’t find any. Fortunately these, of Kelly Hu attending the Warner Brothers Emmy After-Party showed up. Kelly looks fantastic, but with that body, she’d look good in just about everything. This velvet (?) dress is a stunner, and so is the woman.
