Atmospheric New Trailer for Elias’ Psychological Horror Flick Gut

Gut (2011) Movie PosterIn order to promote the film’s appearance at this year’s 60°N Os International Film Festival, writer/director Elias has unleashed a brand new trailer for his creepy slow-burn genre effort “Gut”. The movie is a deep, multi-layered experience, one that I feel deserves multiple viewings. If you want to read an article that features yours truly gushing like a freaking fanboy, direct your browsers to this location.

Before continuing to the latest trailer, read this:

Something is missing in Tom’s life. His marriage has lost its spark, his job is suffocating him, and his childhood best friend Dan still clings to the past. Every day he goes through the motions, becoming increasingly detached from those around him. Dan thinks he has the solution, a mysterious video Tom’s got to see to believe… tonight. What Dan shows him leaves Tom unsettled, flooding his mind with disturbing images and desires, and binding the two friends together with its ugly secret.

60°N Os International Film Festival runs from April 21st to the 28th. Specific screening times have not been set, though I’m sure this will change as the date draws near. The trailer, meanwhile, has been embedded below. Check it out if you’ve got a second to spare.

Author: Todd Rigney

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at)

This movie is on demand. I saw the trailer for it a while ago. I’ll have to check it out.
