Remember when you could only see “The Human Centipede 2″ uncut in Australia? Yeah, well, those days are over, my friend. The “controversial” motion picture was recently banned by the Classification Review Board for “gratuitous, exploitative or offensive depictions of violence”. In other words, it’s a pretty messed up motion picture, and they don’t think it should be consumed by the masses. Can’t say that I blame them, really, but as an opponent of censorship, it’s definitely not the sort of thing you really want to hear in regards to the genre.

“The Human Centipede 2″, of course, is the highly-anticipated sequel to Six’s enjoyable 2009 offering, a subtle little ditty that found three individuals being linked ass-to-mouth by a psychopathic doctor with a lot of free time on his hands. The follow-up, unfortunately, isn’t nearly as memorable as its predecessor, though it’s certainly a lot more graphic.

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided.
