The Whaley House, located in San Diego, California, is one of the few haunted houses in the United States that’s recognized by the United States government. Apparently the joint’s got all kinds of ghosts and spirits and entities running through its halls, some of which you may spot if you take a tour. And if you don’t walk away with a supernatural experience of your own, swing by the gift shop and buy something. That way, everybody wins.
The official logline for writer/director Jose Prendes’ upcoming low-budget chiller “The Haunting of Whaley House” explores what happens when “a tour guide breaks into America’s Most Haunted House, a bit of amateur ghost hunting with friends turns into more horror than they could have ever imagined.” If you’re fluent in Asylum, you’ll understand this to mean no script, amateur actors, and cheap effects. Dear God, I hope so.
Consumers will be able to explore “The Haunting of Whaley House”, which stars Stephanie Greco, Lynn Lowry, Leigh Davis, and Howard McNair, when it hits DVD on July 31st, 2012. The first batch of images from the flick reside below.
