Couple comments:

1) Nix jaded comment about Moore's BSG remake was uncool. There. I said it. BSG was a mystifying, awesome and unstoppable force in sci-fi, and a precious gift to us who watched it all closely. And don't put down my Mac either, you . . . you . . . Well, I'll just stop there.

2)I never thought about Asimov and the f-word (FRAK!). That was a bit left-field. FWIfW, I-Robot mov was a bit forgettable.

How exactly did Will Smith "urbanizing" the story? I don't seem to remember that Azimov placing the story in a rural or agrarian setting?

Perhaps a sequel to "I, Robot" is an excellent idea.

Although the first one wasn't awful, I didn't appreciate the "urbanization" of the story. I don't have anything against Will Smith and I appreciate many of his movies but I don't think Isaac Asimov would have intended his story to have so much usage of the "f-word".

Sci-fi movies should always reflect a higher level of intellect. Excessive usage of crude language is certainly not necessary to make excellent sci-fi films, such as "Blade Runner", "Minority Report", "Star Wars", etc.
