Here’s a behind-the-scenes featurette (the first of many, in all likelihood) for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1″, the first of the two-parter franchise finale. Yup, after this and Part 2, there won’t be any more “Harry Potter” movies whatsoever.

Oh who are we kidding, I’m sure there will be spin-off movies and TV shows and what have you. Blood from a stone and all that. Hollywood isn’t just going to let poor Harry Potter die even after all the books have ben translated. That just ain’t how it works, folks.

Starring Helena Bonham Carter, Ralph Fiennes, Alan Rickman, Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, Tom Felton, Jamie Campbell Bower, Bill Nighy, Maggie Smith, Bonnie Wright, Jason Isaacs, Timothy Spall, Michael Gambon, Rupert Grint, John Hurt, and directed by David Yates.

This will be trully Epic! The franchise alone is a wonder on film being able to keep a cast throughout 8 films and watching the protagonists grow up over the years has been a blast. It’s the end of an era.

Well Unless Rowling starts pumping out new stuff it ain’t happening. I really don’t see her lettimg WB take her baby and run with it. She’s been on board each film in some aspect, and is pretty hadns on when it comes to the material. That said I really wouldn’t mind seeing the things that led up to the death of the Potters in full.
