Benicio del Toro’s Appearance in Sofia Coppola’s Somewhere

Other than the announcement by Focus Features that Stephen Dorff, Elle Fanning, and Jackass actor Chris Pontius will all be starring in the film, popular band Rooney has blogged about making appearance as well. Its lead singer, Robert Schwartzman, is Coppola’s cousin.

Now, confirmed by Movieline, Hollywood A-list actor Benicio del Toro will be briefly appearing in Coppola’s film.

Somewhere stars Dorff as a bad-boy actor holed up in the Chateau Marmont who gets a reality check when he’s unexpectedly visited by his daughter (played by Fanning). [del Toro’s] role involves a brief run-in with Dorff’s actor at the historic hotel.
