If you thought 2010 was a good year for big-budget comic book movies (“Kick Ass”, “Iron Man 2″, to name just two), you haven’t seen anything yet. 2011 promises to kick start Marvel Studio’s avalanche of big-budget superhero movies, which should, if I understand my Hollywood, lead to even more big-budget superhero movies from the other studios. It’s amazing how you have so many crap movies. Cowboys and Aliens is the only one I can imagine being any good, but otherwise there is nothing that jumps out as the new “Kick Ass”, “Hangover”, or “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World”. Captain American and Thor COULD be good, but it’ll a terribly daunting task to make a novel plot while not offending the source material. I’m over the superheros and reliving the 80′s, and hopefully you have just made a terrible list, and its not just a crap year for movies.

should name this post “10 expensive film that will be promoted directly into your eyeballs but will eventually turn out to be average at best”. You need to expect better than this.
